Wish I had hit this food truck FIRST! WOW! Pork was super tender and juicy with just a touch of crispy bits (yum), rice & beans: perfect texture and those OLIVES, omgoodness ya’ll! The tostones were xtra crispy, no need for dipping sauce honestly. This truck was slept on comparing lines and it definitely slapped the hardest and destroyed the competition in my book. Food was clean, flavorful and delicious! Wake up Akron, worth a drive to Cleveland to have again.

Not to often do you get great foodfrom a food truck. Island city food truck is one of the few exceptions in my experience. The Island city sandwich with pork was amazing. The pork had the perfect amount of crisp to it. The loaded tostones with the aioil was delicious too. Keep doing what you're doing Anthony! We loved it!

I rate this truck 9/10 the empanadas were mid but the rice and beans w/ pork was delicious and the loaded tostones with chicken were fire 🔥 🔥 the chicken from this truck is SO good. Would eat again!

absolutely delicious! i've seen this truck around town a few times but have never been able to stop until today - i saw a sign that said "best pork sandwich" so went ahead and ordered that and tostones.. pricing is affordable and the flavor that was packed into the sandwich was unreal, i'll definitely be back!
